Built-in steam introduction and evacuation (without opening the door). No steam tray accessories are required as built into the oven under the stone. Fully adjustable steam vent.

-A premium ceramic baking stone, with Independent top and bottom temperature control, offers fantastic control over the baking process.

FAQs

-Picos can be stacked on top of Pico pluses if required.

-The oven does not require a cold water feed. Water is manually placed into the built-in steam system pre-bake.

-Our recommendation on the amount of water to be added to the steam system is 5 oz (150ml) on the pico plus and 2.5 oz (75ml) on the pico.

-Electrical plug and outlet: You will require a NEMA 6-20P Plug and a NEMA 6-20R receptacle.

-The oven is delivered with a power cord, but no plug due to the fact households have various outlet designs. We advise a suitably qualified electrician to be employed to ensure the outlet and plug are suitable for this deck oven.

-The oven is designed to allow steam to lightly percolate through the exhaust vent at all times. When opening the exhaust vent fully, towards the end of the bake, steam will rapidly evacuate the internal chamber.

-This oven can be sited on top of a workbench as well as the mobile Chandley Ovens stainless steel stand. When stacking two or three ovens high we highly recommend the dedicated Chandley Oven stand due to its heavy-duty build; dedicated oven feet positioning system; and to produce an ergonomic height for the user (with three heights of stand to choose from).

-There is no internal baking chamber light bulb. It is not required due to the large glass door that allows light to enter. We also offer headlamps in our accessories package.

-We recommend approx 9-12” of elbow room around the oven where possible.

-The oven is UKCA + CE certified and NSF approval is currently being sought.
